I was looking at this case and something about the housekeeper's account stuck out to me. It's always bothered me that she saw a man in Nuzzi's room not once, but twice on June 19th. Why didn't she report this immediately to the hotel management or authorities, especially since he wasn't a registered guest? From what she described, it doesn't seem like the man was trying to hide his presence—he was just sitting there on the bed when she came back later. Could it be that he was waiting for someone? It's a shame the housekeeper didn't get a better look or detail anything suspicious about his behavior. I wonder if any police sketches were ever made based on her descriptions or the surveillance footage. Given how important those first 48 hours are, it just feels like everyone involved was a little too passive. Thoughts?

Hey everyone. I’ve been digging into Nuzzi's case and something about his phone records has really got me curious. After he went missing, his nephew checked the numbers on his cell phone, and some were linked to pagers and motels, and one to a halfway house. Has anyone considered what connection these places might have with Nuzzi? It's strange that there are multiple contacts in such locations. What if the woman and man seen in the surveillance tapes were involved with someone at these spots? I wonder if there's any chance they were leading him into a trap or setting him up for something. Given that Nuzzi moved around a lot for his job, do you think he may have come across something or someone that led to his disappearance? If anyone has any theories or insights about these phone contacts, I’d love to discuss!
