Has anyone else been following the nuances of the physical evidence in the Algernon Cross case? I came across a piece of information that just baffles me. Apparently, after the shooting, Jerome Sawyers is said to have rummaged through Cross's pockets and then discarded something into the creek. It's unsettling to think about what that could have been and if it might provide some insight into the motive or the events leading up to the murder. I'm also thinking about Cross’s daughter, who had to witness such a traumatic event. It breaks my heart to imagine what she went through. The fact that Sawyers was already in custody for a different federal case adds another layer of complexity, but also brings up questions about how individuals involved in multiple criminal activities are tracked and managed by the legal system. I'm curious to see how the evidence plays out in court, especially any surveillance footage or forensic details that might clarify the sequence of events. Thoughts?
