I'm thinking about Johnny Sanders' role as a bouncer that night. It must have been really difficult to be in a position where you're responsible for the safety of others, only to end up in harm's way yourself. It's clear he was dedicated to his job and wanted to protect those around him. It's so disheartening that someone could turn to violence so quickly. My heart goes out to Sanders' family and friends who lost someone who was standing up for what was right. It makes you wonder what can be done to better support those working in such high-risk positions. Maybe increased training or better support systems for bouncers and security staff could help prevent such tragedies in the future? Thoughts?
