Hey everyone,
I’m really puzzled by the details surrounding Teresa Schmidt’s disappearance. When I read through the available information, one aspect that struck me was the timing of the search efforts. If Teresa was last seen around 3:00 p.m. and reported missing by 7:00 p.m., why did the search start only at 2:00 a.m.? That's a significant gap, especially in such rugged terrain. Were there specific reasons for the delay? Weather conditions notwithstanding, it seems like those early hours might have been crucial.
Also, the two sets of footprints on either side of the ridge add another layer of mystery. Could it suggest that she was trying to find a way around an obstacle? Or perhaps she got disoriented due to the post-fire landscape changes? Would love to hear others’ thoughts on this!
Hey everyone, I've been thinking about those two sets of footprints found near Cheesman Overlook in Teresa's case. It's baffling. How did she end up on both sides of the ridge? Was she looking for a better view or maybe trying to find her way back? The idea that she might've gotten disoriented because of the changes from the forest fire keeps nagging at me. It's easy to lose your bearings, even for an experienced hiker like Teresa. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on how far apart those prints were. Could it indicate she was looping or maybe trying different paths? Curious to hear your theories!
