Does anyone else find it strange that the authorities only realized Florence Shoemaker was missing two whole years after her likely disappearance? ? I'm curious about what records or contacts got overlooked that might have prevented such a delay. I mean, how does someone just 'disappear' and no one notices for that long? Glenn's explanation that Florence was "out of town" seems pretty weak, especially given her health issues. Makes you wonder if there were any signs or people who knew something was off but didn’t speak up at the time. It's frustrating to see cases like this sit unsolved for so long, particularly with two disappearances from the same family. Anyone else have any theories?

Has anyone else looked into the rumored financial troubles Glenn might have had around the time of Florence's disappearance? I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story about him inheriting his father's assets. It's odd how he claimed Florence was out of town caring for a patient, given her poor health and difficulty getting around. Was there ever any verification of this claim? Florence disappearing and then it going unnoticed for two years just seems so bizarre. Why weren't there any red flags for authorities or even neighbors during this period? It feels like key details are missing, and I can't shake the feeling that these financial angles might be worth exploring further. Thoughts?
