Has anyone else been following the incredibly tragic Woodbury case involving David Wooten and the others caught up in that nightmare on Choctaw Drive? I'm always thinking about how truly courageous Laura Jastre must be. Despite going through such a traumatic experience, not only did she survive, but she also played a significant role in putting Robert Mount behind bars. I can’t imagine the strength it must have taken for her to testify. She's a true hero, and her bravery undeniably helped ensure that justice was served for David and Elizabeth. My heart goes out to the families affected by this senseless act of violence. How can anyone heal after something like this? It's both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.

It's a stark reminder of the incredible resilience some people possess, even in the most heart-wrenching situations. Thoughts go out to her and the families of David Wooten and Elizabeth Clement as they continue to navigate life after such a senseless tragedy. I hope Laura has found some support and strength in the aftermath, even as this horrific event will undoubtedly stay with her forever. Every victim deserves justice, and it’s good to see the system working in this case, but we should also remember the long road each survivor and family walks beyond the courtroom.
