Hey all, I've been following Richard Hicks' case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the role social media might play in uncovering new info. It's 2023, and you'd think someone out there has to have come across a piece of info without even realizing it.
We're all aware how digital footprints can linger, so I'm curious if there's been any updates on whether investigators have tapped into social media apps for leads. There's always that chance someone shared something relevant or snapped a pic with him in the background that got overlooked at the time.
I wonder if there are any volunteers going through old posts and photos from the Vacaville area. Does anyone know if crowd-sourcing efforts or social media campaigns have been used in this case? It's frustrating to think key evidence might be just a click away. If anyone has insights or ideas on how these platforms could be utilized, I'm all ears. Anything that might help bring Richard back to his family.
Does anyone know if Richard Hicks had any distinguishing tattoos or marks? I was looking into cases of missing persons from Vacaville around the same time and remembered hearing something about a unique tattoo, but I can't find any mention of it in the official reports or news articles. It could be something that was overlooked or just not publicized for some reason. Tattoos can be a vital clue in identifying someone, especially after such a long time with no updates. Could this potentially be a lead that hasn’t been fully explored? If anyone knows more or can point me in the right direction, please do!
