I was reading about Andrew Gleaton's case and couldn't help but focus on the significant role that community involvement played in bringing about justice. It's incredible how the witnesses came forward with crucial information that led to Marquise Fleming’s arrest. Their bravery in speaking up must have been difficult, but it clearly made a huge impact. This willingness to help law enforcement should remind us all how vital it is to look out for one another in our communities. I really hope this gives some comfort to Andrew’s family and friends, knowing there are people who truly care and wanted to see justice served. It’s still so hard to digest that something like this could happen; we need to continue fostering environments where people feel empowered to act and make a difference.
