I've been following Theodis Pitchford's case since it unfolded, and I can't help but feel deeply for his friends and family who have had to endure such a terrible loss. The shooting at Oak Court Mall has certainly left a mark on the community, and it’s really unsettling to think about what happened near The Loft that day. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of the other individuals who were with Theodis. While it’s clear now that they were not involved in the shooting, I can only imagine how traumatic this experience must have been for them as well. They’ve been through so much, and I hope they're receiving the support they need. It's good to know that the authorities thoroughly investigated their involvement before determining they were not suspects. Also, I find it frustrating that stolen guns were found in the car. It’s a sad reminder of the larger issues surrounding illegal firearms and how they can end up in the wrong hands. While the legal actions against Otis Reddic and the others involved are necessary steps, I hope they also spark wider discussions on preventing gun violence in our communities. My thoughts are with Theodis's loved ones as they navigate through this painful time.
