I just can't stop thinking about the role the Sky Zoo Night Club played in this tragic event. From what it sounds like, the altercation between Langdon Strickland and Demetrius Buchanan started at the club just two days before Langdon was shot. I wonder how security at the club handled the situation, if they did at all? It's upsetting to think that what might have been a preventable conflict escalated to the loss of a life. I wish more could have been done to stop things from spiraling out of control. It makes me think about how crucial it is for places like bars and clubs to have proper security and conflict de-escalation strategies. Langdon's family and friends are left to pick up the pieces, and I can only imagine the pain of knowing that a night out ended so tragically. My heart goes out to them all. Hopefully, this case will serve as a wake-up call for better safety measures in venues across Chattanooga.
