Living in Memphis, I've seen how tight-knit communities can be, and it's truly upsetting to hear about the tragic events at Cleaborn Pointe. The loss of Corey Deon Evans, Sr. has left a hole in many lives, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's heartbreaking that an argument over a dice game spiraled into such violence. I can't help but think about what could be done to prevent these disputes from turning deadly. Maybe community programs focused on conflict resolution could make a difference? I'm also wondering about the level of support available for residents who are grieving or fearful after witnessing such violence.
