Has anyone looked into the local tattoo artists around St. Louis or Dittmer? I know that Paul Smith had two distinctive tattoos on his shoulders—a demonic angel and a pit bull with green eyes. These could be quite memorable. If someone local inked those, maybe they remember him talking about his plans or anyone he was hanging out with at the time. Tattoo artists often get to know their clients pretty well over long sessions, so someone might have a bit of info that doesn't seem significant at first but could be crucial. I wonder if police have pursued this angle deeply enough in their investigation. Just throwing out some thoughts—every little detail could help.
