I’ve been following the heartbreaking case of little Anaya Boyd and wanted to talk about the community's response. It's so touching to see how the neighbors and local community members came together after this tragedy. They held a candlelight vigil near the Enclave Apartment Complex, which shows how much Anaya touched everyone around her, even those who maybe didn’t know her personally. It’s truly a testament to how communities can come together in times of unimaginable pain. Memphis residents have been vocal about wanting changes in local laws to prevent more senseless gun violence. It’s comforting, at least, to see people standing up and advocating for the safety of our children. Anaya's story, and sadly others like hers, remind us of the importance of pushing for necessary changes to protect our most vulnerable.
