I’ve been following Luke Green’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the role that social media and peer influence might have played in this tragic event. It's haunting to realize how a single decision, possibly fueled by the desire to impress or fit in, can have such dire consequences. The fact that all the suspects are so young saddens me, as they had their whole lives ahead of them. This crime didn't just end Luke’s life but also changed the course of theirs forever. Social pressures and misguided attempts to prove oneself can be so destructive. My heart goes out to Luke’s family, who must be struggling to make sense of this senseless act. It’s a painful reminder of how critical it is for communities to foster environments where young people can make better choices.
