I've been following Joel Ervin's case for a while, and I'm really struck by the impact his death has had on his kids. Losing a parent is tough enough, but the circumstances around this are just unimaginable. Joel seemed like such a dedicated dad. I’ve read that he attended every school event and was always there cheering his boys on in whatever they pursued. It breaks my heart to know that those boys are now growing up without their father. Does anyone else know if there are any local initiatives or memorial funds set up for his kids? I feel like supporting his family could be a way to honor his memory while we wait and hope for justice to be served.

Has anyone heard any updates from the community about potential eyewitnesses or surveillance footage that might have captured what happened that night at Hamilton Pines Apartments? I can't imagine the pain his family and especially his four sons must be enduring with such a profound loss. Joel seemed like a well-respected individual who was deeply loved by his community. It's just so disheartening that his life was cut short like that. I truly hope someone comes forward with information that helps the investigation. Does anyone know if there have been any community vigils or gatherings in his memory? Keeping everyone who knew and loved Joel in my thoughts.
