I've been following Victoria Leisure’s case, and I can't shake the image of her children, Erin Nicole and Alex Rhiley, trying to navigate life without their mom. It's beyond comprehension how devastating this must be for them, especially knowing that their mother was taken in such a senseless act of violence. I hope they have a strong support system surrounding them during this unimaginably tough time. I also think it’s important to discuss the role of threats in cases like this. The fact that someone in the car received a threatening text from Withers just before the shooting makes my heart ache. It’s terrifying to think how quickly these situations can escalate when threats are involved. I truly hope that justice is served, and that this case brings more awareness to how seriously threats should be taken.
