I’ve been following the discussions about Travis Allon Sinard's tragic case, and I came across something that really struck me. During the trial, there was a lot of focus on the forensic evidence, particularly the ballistics report. It’s just chilling to think about how precise and cold these investigations have to be, focusing on trajectories and bullet calibers, while people’s lives are torn apart. I can’t even imagine how Sinard's family sat through this testimony, reliving that dreadful day in such detail. It makes me wonder how they found the strength to endure the proceedings and still hold onto their memories and love for Travis. We talk a lot about justice here, but it’s also important to acknowledge the personal struggles that families face long after the courtrooms are empty. My heart truly goes out to them.
