Has anyone else noticed the role social media played in helping solve Tammy Hawthorne's case? It's chilling to think about what can be hidden in plain sight on platforms like Facebook. In this situation, it was a piece of the puzzle police needed to connect the dots. It makes you wonder how many other cases have been cracked wide open thanks to a random post or tipster. My heart goes out to Tammy's family and friends who have to grapple with the loss while also dealing with the details of how it all unfolded. What are everyone’s thoughts on the idea of using these kinds of digital breadcrumbs in criminal investigations? Is it a double-edged sword?
