Whenever cases like this surface, my heart goes out to the community and families left picking up the pieces. I recently read about how Kristina and Gabby were such integral parts of their community. Kristina was known for her positive outlook and hard work, and Gabby was apparently a shining star at Tennessee High. The fact that the entire school decided to dedicate their softball season to Gabby shows just how impactful she was to her peers. It's moments like these that really show the strength and support within a community. I think it's a beautiful tribute and hopefully provides a bit of solace to those who knew and loved them. The introduction of "The Gabby Act" also gives hope that meaningful change can come from such a tragedy, ensuring that their loss is not in vain.
