Has anyone else looked into the peculiar turn of events with William Pearson Jr.'s case? I just read that the charges connected to Leon Smith's death were dropped in 2022 right before the trial. This is incredibly frustrating for Leon's family, who must feel like justice slipped through their fingers. I can't imagine the pain they're enduring having to relive this without any closure. Does anyone have insights into why the charges were dropped? It seems odd that they built a case over five years, only for it to be dismissed. My heart goes out to Leon's loved ones as they navigate this ordeal.
