Hey everyone, I've been following the news about Lacord Anderson's case and something that's been on my mind is the ripple effect this has on the Somerville community. I imagine how unsettling it must be for everyone who knew him or even just lived nearby. The 300 block of West Market Street will probably never feel quite the same again. It’s like a shadow hangs over places where such things happen, and I think it’s crucial for us to acknowledge how these events impact not only the victim's family but the neighborhood as a whole. I hope the continued investigation and legal proceedings help bring some sense of justice and healing, but I know it's not an easy process.
