Has anyone else heard about Darian Hixson's incredible work with young athletes in Chattanooga? It's so tragic what happened, but I can’t help but feel inspired by how much she gave back to her community, especially the youth. From what I've gathered, she was a mentor to so many young girls, showing them the ropes not just in basketball but in life. I think it says a lot about her character and the kind of person she was. It must be so difficult for her family and friends to cope with this loss, but I hope they find some comfort in knowing she made such a positive impact during her time. If anyone on here has more stories or memories of Darian, I’d love to hear them. Keeping the memory of victims alive can often bring a sense of peace and keep the focus on the change they inspired. Sending strength to all who knew and loved her.
