It’s hard to process the sheer courage Norbert displayed that night. A friend risking his life so that others can be safe—the world needs more people like him. While it’s comforting to know Norbert’s legacy is one of heroism, it’s also incredibly frustrating that the intruders still haven’t been caught. I've been re-reading how these intruders might have gotten into the house. The idea that they might have been hiding in the attic is seriously chilling. If this is true, it adds an extra layer of fear to an already tragic situation. Hopefully, someone will come forward with information. This case has already taken so much from the people involved—it’s time they get some justice. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Norbert.
I find it incredibly disconcerting that the police have yet to make any arrests or identify suspects in Norbert's case. It’s been almost a year since this horrific event, and it feels like those responsible are just out there somewhere, possibly planning their next crime. I know these investigations can take time, but it's hard not to feel frustrated and anxious for justice to be served.
Norbert deserves justice for the bravery and sacrifice he displayed that awful night. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are experiencing, knowing that the person or persons who did this are still free. I really hope investigators are pouring all resources into this case. His community is waiting to see closure, and it's alarming that we haven't heard of any significant leads or breakthroughs.
For those in Memphis or surrounding areas, let’s keep supporting Norbert's family and keep his story alive. The more we talk about it, the more pressure we can apply for progress. Stay safe, everyone, and keep an eye out for anything that might help bring justice for Norbert.
