I find myself puzzled over the role of Ellis' brother in the whole ordeal. From what I've gathered, he was present in the house during the incident and even attempted to assist Andrew after he was shot. I wonder if his testimony during the trial played a critical role in Ellis' defense, especially considering she was acquitted. It’s hard to imagine how overwhelming it must have been for him—to witness such a traumatic event and to navigate the complexities of familial loyalty versus the truth in court. My heart goes out to both families involved. It’s a profoundly sorrowful situation where there seem to be no true winners. Does anyone have more insight into what he testified about?
