Has anyone else looked into the possibility that Alma's disappearance could be linked to the transient community she was part of? It's tragic how many people experiencing homelessness can vanish and only be reported missing much later, like Alma was. Could she have had friends or acquaintances within the camps that might have known what was happening around the time she disappeared? Sometimes, close-knit groups pick up on details that outsiders miss. I wonder if anyone has followed up on people from that community who may have since moved on or left the area. It's a long shot, but any insight into the community dynamics during that period might shed light on this case.
