Hey everyone, I've been doing some digging into the James Long case from 1973, and I wanted to share a lead with any fellow sleuths interested in exploring more about it. I noticed some of us are looking for any shred of information, so I thought it might be worth checking out the Pennsylvania State Archives for his death certificate. They have records from that exact period when James passed away. It might have some of the answers we're hoping to find, like the cause of death or any other vital details. I know for many of us, it can be difficult to access these records due to the fees or subscription requirements, but maybe we could team up with those who have access or even reach out to local libraries. Sometimes, libraries offer free access to Ancestry or similar databases, which could be a huge help. If anyone else has had any luck with archives or has found creative ways to access them without breaking the bank, your advice would be greatly appreciated here. I feel like collectively, we might be able to piece together parts of the puzzle and maybe give a bit more clarity to James’s family and friends, who I’m sure have been left with so many open questions. Let’s see if we can shed some more light on this shadowy case. Thanks and stay safe.

Has anyone else been looking into James Long's case from 1973? I recently stumbled upon it and was struck by how little information is out there. It seems unusual that there's not more to go on, even after all these years. I understand the emotional toll on families when a loss remains unexplained, and I can't imagine how hard this must be on James's loved ones. I read that the Pennsylvania State Archives might have his death certificate. Has anyone here tried accessing these archives for similar cases? It seems like there could be a wealth of information available, but I'm not sure how easy it is to get access. Maybe there's a possibility that more insight lies there, waiting for someone to uncover it. If anyone’s been through the process or knows how to navigate it, I'd appreciate any advice or guidance you could offer.
