Has anyone else looked into the background of the altercation between Mark Geddes and his father that led to the issuance of the warrant? I can't help but think that understanding this conflict might shed some light on what Geddes' state of mind was on that tragic day. It seems like such a senseless act that led to the loss of Trooper Welsch, who was just doing his job, and left his loved ones to grieve a remarkable life ended way too soon. Maybe there were warning signs or tensions in the family that were overlooked? It's so sad to think how different things might have been if someone had intervened earlier. My thoughts are with Mrs. Welsch and both families who have been forever changed by this tragedy.
