Does anyone have any insights into international parental abduction cases, particularly when the suspect is believed to take the child back to their home country? Wendy Carolina Euceda’s case has been haunting me. I read she might have been taken to Honduras by her mother back in 2012. It’s so challenging to imagine the obstacles involved in locating someone across international borders. I've read about how Interpol notices work, but does anyone have detailed knowledge about how effective they are in these situations? Also, any idea if there might be issues with jurisdiction or cooperation between countries? Hoping for any info that could clarify this aspect a bit more.

I’ve been following Wendy Carolina Euceda’s case for a while now, and I keep wondering about the role of international cooperation in such situations. Considering they might have traveled to Honduras, does anyone know how local authorities there typically handle cases involving children who are potentially abducted from other countries? Are there any specific challenges or successes in terms of tracking leads and supporting a search in another country? It’s frustrating how these cross-border cases seem to hit so many walls. If anyone has experience or insights into this aspect, it would be great to discuss!
