I was reading about the Alan Rigefsky case recently, and something that really stands out to me is the lack of witnesses or people coming forward with information. I mean, this happened in a residential area, and you would think someone might have seen or heard something, especially with a getaway car involved. It makes me wonder if maybe there was a level of fear or intimidation going on that kept people from talking to the police. It's so tough to see cases like this where the victim's family is left waiting for answers for so many years. I can't imagine the frustration and grief they must be feeling, knowing the suspect was identified but still not apprehended. I hope anyone who might know something gets the courage to share it with the authorities. Alan's family deserves closure, and his memory deserves justice.
