I’ve been thinking deeply about Demarko Montez Robinson and how difficult it must be for his family over the years. I can't even imagine the pain of not knowing what exactly happened or why. The fact that this case remains unsolved is just so upsetting. What stands out to me is the broader issue of distrust between the community and the police. I feel like this distrust is a huge barrier to getting justice not just for Demarko, but for so many others impacted by violence in Minneapolis. It’s hard to fathom how families cope, not getting the closure or answers they deserve. It just makes me wonder what more can be done to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. Maybe if there are initiatives to foster better communication and trust, we might see some movement in these unsolved cases. Thoughts?
