Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the emotional impact of Barry Strickland’s case that happened back in '96. It’s been quite some time, but the shock and sadness those closest to him must have felt are unimaginable. Sometimes it's easy to focus solely on the crime itself and forget there are real people suffering in its wake. I was wondering if there have been any memorials or tributes in Chester to honor Barry’s life? Sometimes, keeping the memory of a person alive through gatherings or special events can bring some comfort—like a small ray of light amidst the darkness. Not only for the family but also for the community who may still feel that absence. Hoping there was something like this or, if not, that there might still be a place for such an initiative. Remembering the good times and the positive impact Barry had on those around him could be a way to bring people together in healing. Anyone know? ✨
