Has anyone here been following the older cases from Oakland, like the one involving Jose Rivera-Estrada? It's been so many years, and yet some of these cases are still waiting for resolution. One thing that stands out to me is how overburdened the Oakland PD seemed back then. With all the violence happening in that area during 2012, it feels like they just didn’t have enough resources to handle everything effectively. I can’t help but think about how frustrating it must be for the families, knowing that there was a surge in violent crime and their loved ones’ cases got caught up in it all. That year must have felt like just one tragic headline after another, but for those living it, it's not just a story—it's their reality. Does anyone have insights on what efforts are currently being made to help families and communities affected by those unresolved cases? How have things changed over the years? It's so important for these families to eventually find peace, and any bit of awareness or update on these situations could help make a difference.
