Hey everyone, I was reading up on Jason Eric Gilchrist's case and wanted to bring up something that often gets overlooked in murder investigations: the importance of community involvement. It's clear from what I’ve learned that Jason, known by many as "Crazy J," was a beloved figure in his community. His infectious personality left a lasting impression, and it’s heartwarming to see that people still share their fond memories of him in online memorials. But here's where we can play a part. I feel like keeping Jason’s name alive isn't just about sharing memories but also about actively pushing for justice. It’s been so long since that tragic day in 2005, and the fact that his family hasn't found closure yet must be incredibly difficult. If anyone is in or around the Philadelphia area, maybe there are ways to remind the community and local law enforcement that this case shouldn’t fade away. Even organizing small community events or vigils could potentially bring forward new information or witnesses. Jason deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. If anyone has ideas or knows of movements trying to reopen discussions around cold cases in Philly, let's try and bring some light to this. Take care, and let’s not lose hope. — a voice for Jason
