I've been thinking about Cynthia Harker's actions during the tragic events on April 6, 2009, and I'm truly moved by her courage. In such a chaotic and terrifying situation, it's incredible that she managed to focus on trying to help Scott Garlick. It's heartbreaking to consider that while we often focus on the perpetrators of such crimes, the bravery of citizens like Cynthia often goes unnoticed. Her selfless attempts to save Scott are a testament to the strength of the human spirit, even in the darkest times. It makes me wonder how we, as a community, can support and recognize those who act so courageously in circumstances like these. What other acts of unrecognized bravery have happened during other tragic events, and how can we ensure these individuals receive the acknowledgement they deserve?
