Hey folks, I've been diving into Lawrence Zamora's case, and something just doesn't sit right with me about his last known location. I’ve lived around Phoenix for a while now, and 59th Avenue and West McDowell is usually bustling, especially in the early evening. With all those people around, you'd think there'd be more eyewitness accounts or CCTV footage. Has anyone heard if detectives checked with nearby businesses for camera footage or anything else that could shed some light on his whereabouts that evening? Sometimes it feels like there are overlooked opportunities in these busy areas that could potentially lead to a break in the case. Just trying to piece together any possible gaps here.

I have been looking into this case, too. From what I found out, the family has not been given any updates from detectives still. Have you found out any more information?

After checking NamUs, the Charley Project, and other public sources, there are still no new developments in his case. His last known contact near 59th Ave and McDowell back in 2013 remains the only confirmed detail, and nothing has been added publicly by Phoenix PD since.

It’s one of those cases where almost no information was ever released, and unfortunately that hasn’t changed over the past decade. If anyone remembers anything from the time or has come across older local reporting, feel free to share. For now, though, there are simply no updates—Lawrence is still missing, and keeping his story visible is all we can do.
