I was thinking about Edward Taylor's case today, specifically about the role of Detective Larry Weigand. I can't help but feel for the detectives who work tirelessly on these cases. It must be such a heavy burden, knowing the grief the family must feel and wanting to bring them justice. Detective Weigand, alongside Detective Scarpato, seemed really dedicated to getting answers for Edward's loved ones. The amount of evidence they gathered, like the shell casings and bullet fragments, shows how critical thorough investigations are. I can’t imagine the kind of patience and perseverance it takes to piece everything together in such a complex and tragic situation. This case is yet another reminder of the senseless violence affecting the Chester community, and I really hope we continue to see efforts to curb these tragedies. My thoughts are with Edward's family and friends––I hope they find some comfort knowing the case was taken seriously and worked on diligently.

I've been following Edward Taylor's case for a while, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of community detectives and police work in these investigations.
