I find myself coming back to this tragic story and thinking about Ed White's family. It must have been such a rollercoaster for them from initially thinking it was a hit-and-run to discovering there was a much deeper and darker truth. I can't imagine the pain they went through as details unfolded. What really strikes me about this case is the surveillance footage. It's chilling to think about how those few seconds of video became such a pivotal piece of evidence. I wonder how different things might have been if no footage existed. It's a testament to how crucial these bits of technology are in today's investigations. It's hard not to feel a sense of unresolved tension, knowing that DelGuerico took her own life before facing justice for what she did. While it brings some closure, it also leaves so many questions unanswered. Sending thoughts to Ed's loved ones and hoping they’ve been able to find some peace since this horrible event.
