Has anyone else been following the Lauren Williams case? I can’t stop thinking about the moments leading up to her tragic death. It's incredibly disturbing to consider the fear she must have felt knowing she was being threatened, especially since she had reached out for help just a day before. It's such an awful situation that could have possibly been prevented. It's so frustrating to see how vulnerable she was and how quickly everything unfolded. I hope there is some comfort for her family in knowing that the community stands with them, and that Lauren is remembered as the wonderful person her mother described. It's a somber reminder of how important it is to address signs of domestic abuse quickly and effectively. What do you all think could have been done differently to protect her?
