Has anyone else been thinking about the significance of the candlelight vigil held for Edwin Hammond? It's truly touching to see the community come together in such a powerful way, especially when something so tragic happens. The descriptions of Edwin being full of joy and always smiling really hit home. It's clear that he didn’t just impact his family but also the wider community. It makes you wonder how people can callously take away someone so cherished. I hope this vigil not only helped Edwin’s family cope but also reinforces the push for justice. Does anyone know if there have been any leads or updates since then? Keeping his family in my thoughts as they navigate this.
Edwin Hammond Case - Community Involvement
I've been following the tragic case of Edwin Hammond's murder and can't help but feel for his family and friends. It's been over eight years, and the thought that his killer might still be out there is chilling. I recently learned that Crime Stoppers offered a $1,000 reward for information, and it got me thinking about how the community can play a role in solving these cases.
Have there been any recent initiatives or efforts by the local community in Penn Hills to keep Edwin's case in the public eye? Public awareness can sometimes shake loose the piece of information needed to crack these cases. Candlelight vigils and social media campaigns can be powerful tools in encouraging those who might know something to come forward. Keeping the story alive is so important, especially for his three children who deserve to know that everything possible is being done to bring their father's killer to justice.
Would love to hear if there’s anything organized or if there’s a way people who aren’t in Pennsylvania can help support the effort.
