Wow, this case really highlights how deeply tangled and devastating these drug-related crimes can become. What strikes me most is the impact Janay Brown’s testimony must have had on her and others close to Brandon Gray. Witnessing such a traumatic event and then having the courage to testify is no small feat. I can't imagine the strength it must have taken for her to stand up in court and relive those horrifying moments. It’s sad how lives are forever changed not only by the loss but by the violence that surrounds these situations. Sending thoughts to Brandon’s loved ones who are dealing with the aftermath of such a tragic loss. It’s crucial that we continue talking about these issues and push for safer communities.
