I've been following Cordell J. Nash-Matthews' case, and every time I think about it, I find myself deeply hurt for his family and their tremendous loss. It's been years, but the community still feels the absence of such a genuinely kind soul. The fact that he was trying to protect his sister just shows what a caring person he was. I heard that a mural was put up to honor his memory at the location where he was shot, and it stands as a reminder of the beautiful life that was stolen too soon. Has anyone seen it or perhaps participated in its creation? It would be nice to hear how the community is coming together to remember him, even after all these years. Sending love to his family, especially his children, who will undoubtedly grow up knowing what a brave person their father was.

I was really touched when I learned about the mural created in Cordell J. Nash-Matthews' honor. It’s heartwarming to see how the community has come together to remember him in such a meaningful way. Art like this not only celebrates his life and the goodness he brought to others but also serves as a poignant reminder of the senseless violence that continues to affect so many lives. It must be incredibly comforting for his family and friends to have a physical space to reflect on the beautiful person he was. I hope that through such efforts, we can remember Cordell not just for his tragic passing but for the kindness and love he showed in his lifetime. How has this mural been received by the local community? Has it sparked more conversations about the measures needed to address violence in Harrisburg?

I knew Cordell from when we worked together at Chewy's. It’s surreal to think he's gone because he was genuinely one of the nicest guys I ever met—always the first to help out a coworker in need or to crack a joke during a busy shift. What gets me is the bravery he showed trying to protect his sister. That says everything about the kind of person he was. It’s so touching to hear about the mural that the community created in his honor. It serves as a reminder of how much he was loved and what a hole his absence has left. I can't imagine what his family, especially his parents and kids, are going through. While nothing can ever bring him back, I hope they find some comfort in the memories and the love that surrounds them. I can’t help but feel a sense of urgency for justice in his case. The pain of losing someone in such a senseless way is unimaginable, and I hope Dominique Baines is held accountable for what happened. Healing takes time, but knowing justice is served could offer some solace to his loved ones.
