I've been following this case and one detail keeps sticking with me: the role of the witnesses who testified during the trial. It must've taken incredible courage for those individuals to come forward, especially considering the dangers and fear surrounding gang-related incidents. I hope they’re receiving proper support and protection for their bravery. Their testimonies were crucial in ensuring justice for Angel and Tito, and while it won’t bring them back, maybe it provides a small measure of peace for their loved ones. My heart goes out to their family. Gangs have such a devastating reach, tearing apart families and communities like this. We really need stronger community programs to prevent this kind of violence from occurring.
