I came across the news about Oscar Lewis King and can't stop thinking about how his truck was in Weiss Lake all this time. It's wild to realize a decade went by, and the poor guy was there the whole time. I'm really curious about how nobody noticed the truck earlier or if it was just the angles and depth that kept it hidden for so long. Wondering if any of the local fishing folks or divers might have stories about unusual spots in the lake? It definitely seems like it’s easy for something to go unnoticed in those waters. Anyone familiar with Weiss Lake who can share some insights?

Wow, this case about Oscar Lewis King really got me thinking about how easily vehicles can end up in the water without anyone noticing. It's puzzling yet completely plausible how this could happen, especially if the boat ramp was unlit or poorly marked back then. Given the area and the time passed since 2013, it's understandable how his truck wasn't spotted earlier. Also makes me wonder how often fishermen or others notice things underwater and don't realize their significance. I hope future boat ramps are better illuminated or have clearer markers to prevent such tragic accidents. Thoughts?

I can't stop thinking about how easily this kind of accident could happen, especially to someone who might not be familiar with the area or was out late at night. From what I’ve read about Weiss Lake, there aren't always clear markings or barriers at some of the older boat ramps. It just makes you wonder if something as simple as better signage or lighting could prevent tragic incidents like this. Even though it's been years, I hope this brings a sense of relief to Oscar King’s family, knowing what happened. Has anyone heard of similar incidents in the area or other lakes? Maybe it's something the local authorities need to look into more closely.
