I've been thinking a lot about the impact this case has had on Robert Colter III's community and his loved ones. It's just so hard to comprehend the ongoing ripple effects of losing someone so young and full of potential. I read that Robert was the father of twin girls. I can't stop thinking about how they're growing up without their dad. My heart goes out to them and Robert’s family. The verdicts might have brought a semblance of justice, but I imagine the true healing for his family and especially his daughters will be a long and difficult process. It’s a reminder of how random acts of violence can forever alter so many lives. Sending all my love and strength to his family as they continue to navigate life without him. Does anyone have any thoughts on how communities can better support families like Robert's in the aftermath of such tragedies?
