I’ve been following the Ellwood Skillman case for a while now, and I'm really struck by how the community is handling this situation. Arcadia seems like a small, tight-knit place, and seeing how neighbors and friends are reacting is a reminder of how deeply tragic events ripple through communities. People who knew both Skillman and Yingling describe them as just everyday guys, which makes this whole thing even harder to digest. I've read that the police are trying to find the person who initially tipped them off. Whoever it was might have been scared or unsure, but they did the right thing by coming forward. It must be incredibly daunting to be in that position, knowing you’re holding information that can bring closure to a horrifying event. At the end of the day, Ellwood deserves justice, and David’s actions need to be understood in the context of what happened.
