Hi everyone, I've been following the discussions about Victor Dennis's case, and something that's been on my mind is the role that community support—or the lack of it—plays in these unsolved cases. It's so tragic that Victor and so many others have been lost to a wave of violence, and it feels like there’s almost a deafening silence from the community that needs to be addressed. I completely understand the fear that residents might feel about coming forward with information. With the high rates of crime in Detroit back then, I can only imagine how intimidating it must have been to speak out. But what can we do to create an atmosphere where people feel safe sharing what they know? Could community programs focused on witness protection or anonymous tip lines make a difference? It's just heartbreaking to think about all the families, like Victor’s, who are left with unanswered questions and no closure. My thoughts are definitely with everyone affected by these tragedies. I hope that someday soon, there will be a turning point that brings justice and peace to those who have been impacted. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this. Stay safe, [Username]
