I've been following this case closely, and I find myself thinking about the overwhelming fear that Wendy Chaney must have felt as an informant. Imagine the courage it took for her to step forward and work with law enforcement, knowing that a dangerous gang like the Black Guerilla Family was capable of such violence. Wendy's bravery should be remembered and honored, not just for the risks she took, but for the hope she must have had for a safer future. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to see a life ended in such a brutal way because of the criminal activities that plague our communities. My heart goes out to Wendy’s loved ones and the families of Brandon Cole and Phillip Jackson. They deserved so much better, and it's truly a tragic loss for everyone who knew them.
