It's just incredibly difficult to wrap my head around the tragic loss of LeeAnn Negley. As a member of the educational community, it's particularly heart-wrenching to see such a dedicated teacher's life cut short in such a violent way. I keep thinking about how this must be affecting her students, who probably looked up to her and cherished the time they spent with her. I read somewhere that LeeAnn was an advocate for students with special needs. This makes the situation all the more devastating, knowing how much she gave of herself to her work and her students. It's sad to think about how many lives she impacted and how she had so much more to give. Just sending all my thoughts and prayers to her daughters, Olivia and Ashlyn. They must be going through unimaginable pain and confusion. I hope they find comfort in their memories of their mother and the outpouring of support from the community. If anyone knows any credible fundraisers or support efforts for LeeAnn’s family or students, please share.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the children impacted by the loss of LeeAnn Negley, especially her students at South Buffalo Elementary. It's hard to imagine how devastating it must have been for those kids to lose such a loving and dedicated teacher so suddenly. From what I’ve read, LeeAnn was a true advocate for her special education students, always going above and beyond to support them academically and emotionally. Her commitment to her students must have made such a positive difference in their lives. It's reassuring to hear that the Freeport Area School District offered support to help them cope, but it still breaks my heart to think about the void her absence left in those young lives. Her legacy as a nurturing and passionate educator lives on in the hearts of her students, who will surely carry her lessons and love with them forever.
