Has anyone else looked into the specific area where Brian Butler's car was found? I did some research, and Devil's Slide has quite a history. Before the tunnels were built, that section of Highway 1 was notorious for landslides and has been closed multiple times. With its rugged terrain and proximity to the ocean, it makes you wonder if there are unrecovered areas or spots that haven't been thoroughly searched. For someone who was known to enjoy hiking and was perhaps seeking solitude, is it possible he ventured into the more secluded parts off the beaten path? Also wondering if radar or more advanced tech could be used to search these areas now, given the advancements over the years. Thoughts?
