Has anyone looked into the possibility of security camera footage near the Coney Island where Donald Robinson was killed? It seems like there are often cameras around businesses, especially in areas with a lot of foot traffic. If the incident happened around 3:30 a.m., maybe nearby businesses or street cameras might have captured something. I know it's been years, but sometimes footage can help piece together more details or support witness statements. I really feel for Donald's family; not knowing what happened or why must be incredibly difficult. Maybe publicizing this angle could encourage someone with information or footage to come forward. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else been following the piece about Donald Robinson and the challenges the Detroit PD faces in similar cases? It really struck me when thinking about the impact on the families left without answers. I can’t imagine the pain that Robinson’s loved ones must be going through with no closure in sight. It just seems so daunting with over 8,000 homicides in Detroit since 1980 and so many remaining unsolved. I keep wondering if there’s more that can be done to encourage community cooperation. I read that in many cases, fear and a lack of trust in the justice system prevent witnesses from coming forward. It seems like a vicious cycle that only exacerbates the backlog of cases. Maybe there's a way to foster safer environments for witnesses to provide tips without fear of retaliation? More outreach, perhaps, or increasing anonymity for those who do come forward? Donald's case is such a grim reminder of the systemic issues plaguing Detroit's criminal justice system. It's clear that more resources are needed, but how do we push for that effectively? Hoping for justice for Donald and healing for his family.

Has anyone else been following the discussions on the lack of surveillance footage in Donald Robinson's case? I find it incredibly frustrating that in such a busy area, there's so little evidence to work with. I can't imagine what his family is going through, knowing that there might have been cameras that could've captured the suspect or the getaway. It seems like every little bit of information is crucial, especially when cases start turning cold this quickly. For those more familiar with Detroit, do businesses in that area typically not keep cameras running at night, or was this a one-off situation? Hoping more attention on this case might encourage someone with info to come forward, even though it’s been so long. My heart goes out to Donald’s loved ones—they deserve answers and justice.
